Global Fire Protection was founded in 1999 by Clarence Darby. Starting with just a few employees, the company has grown over the years to now employing over 150 people. In 2005, Clay G. Glover and Jason B. Moore purchased the company.
Our Locations
Global Fire Protection has three offices located in Tuscaloosa, AL, Nashville, TN and the home office in Florence, AL. The company has dealt with a lot of adversity over the years, including the April 27, 2011, tornado that wiped out the Tuscaloosa office. The company had to relocate four times in Tuscaloosa due to the destruction caused by the tornado.
Global Fire Protection also faced another tornado in Florence, AL in 2021, which caused a significant disruption in business. The company relocated to its current location in Downtown Florence, AL at 444 South Walnut Street. Additionally, the company had to navigate through the Covid crisis that hit across the land.

The company takes pride in doing things right, standing behind their product, and keeping the customer first. The mission statement of the company was born through several days of prayer and thinking about what the company truly wants to be about.
